Macroeconomics is the oldest and best-known branch of economics. It studies large-scale economic factors, such as national productivity, economic growth and aggregated market outcomes.

Research questions

• What are the costs of a trade war for the economy? How did capital inflow and financial deregulation within the United States interact and drive the recent boom and bust in housing prices?  What are the effects of taxation on growth?
