David Dorn named Fellow of the Prestigious Econometric Society

Congratulations to David Dorn on being elected as a Fellow of the Econometric Society!

The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. Part of the main activities of the Society are the publication of the journals Econometrica, Quantitative Economics, and Theoretical Economics, the publication of a research Monograph Series and the organization of scientific meetings in six regions of the world.

David Dorn is the UBS Foundation Professor of Globalization and Labor Markets at the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich and the director of the university-wide interdisciplinary research priority program “Equality of Opportunity.” David’s research spans the fields of labor economics, international trade, economic geography, macroeconomics, and political economy.
