Application and Admission

The Department of Economics invites interested individuals to join our vibrant, international, and diverse community and to apply on a rolling basis to the specific openings.

Available positions are listed on our website, with information on requirements, deadlines and on how to apply for each position.

The predoctoral candidate must possess (at the time of starting) a master’s or bachelor's degree with excellent grades in Economics or another quantitative field (such as, but not limited to, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics).

Students applying must submit all the required documents. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until positions have been filled. Applicants may be invited to interview and may be asked to complete a data or technical exercise. New positions may continue to be posted. Most positions will begin in August/September, although other start dates may be possible.

Agreements usually last for one year with an option to renew for a second year by mutual agreement by the faculty supervisor(s) and the fellow.
